Sound Samples: GAS-909
These sound samples are from Brandon Gan
from Singapore.
He bought a GAS-909 weeks ago and sent me these clips.
1st clip: download here!
Intro is how the amp is like clean. Pedal is switched on with gain at 1 quarter. Tone at 1 quarter. Level at 10 o'clock and with bass switch in.
2nd clip: download here!
Same thing but with gain at half.
3rd clip: download here!
Same thing with gain at 3 quarter.
Explanations from Brandon:
The pedal retains alot of clarity with chords and the dynamic changes are very responsive when using different pickups or switching between using a pick and fingers, regardless of how much gain is added. All gain is from the pedal and the amp is set totally clean. A mesa boogie f-30 tube amp was used. Clean channel, no reverb or delay was added and a shure sm57 used through a line6 toneport for recording. No mixing was done.
4th clip: download here!
Explanations from Brandon:
Its the 909 in a recording environment. With delay, chorus, wah wah. The works, to show how it sounds together with other effects. The wah was an RMC picture. Chorus is a Redwitch empress. Delay was kept on all the time, its a Boss dd-2. All gain was from the 909 and amp was clean.
